Wills, Powers of Attorney, & Notary Public
Wills and Health Care Directives
Having a Will ensures that your wishes for the gifting of the property you own (both personal and real estate), at the time of your passing, are carried out by your Executors and Trustees. Having a Health Care Directive or Living Will ensures, when you are no longer able to express informed consent to medical treatment, that your wishes regarding the medical treatment you are to receive are respected and followed.
Powers of Attorney
A Power of Attorney is a legal document in which you assign one or more individuals (“attorney”) the authority to act for you in the management of your financial or legal matters, should you become incapable of doing so. A Power of Attorney can also be granted by you for a limited circumstance, such as when you are planning to be away or inaccessible for a significant period of time and can also be limited to the kinds of matters that you want managed by your “attorney”.

Notary Public
Often people need the services of a Notary Public, particularly when legal matters require steps to be taken outside of Manitoba and/or Canada, to be fully resolved. We offer competitive fees for the witnessing of a signature to a legal document by a Notary Public as well as the provision of a Notarial Certificate when a copy of an original document is required to be authenticated by a Notary Public.
